The New Hire Development Program (NHDP) will give you the chance to see, firsthand, our groundbreaking ideas and innovative solutions. These are the products of our environment, our creative thinking and the work we do as a team. As we develop our next generation of leaders, the NHDP will help raise the level of your skills and of Xerox.

About the Program

The NHDP is designed to bring new hires, from around the globe, up to speed quickly through a supportive, informative, and fun series of orientation events, seminars, customer interactions, and social events. The program is structured like this:

New Hire Orientation

A multi-day introduction to Xerox. You’ll enjoy presentations from senior executives, tours of local facilities, and social events designed to help foster a sense of community.

Customer, Business, and Technology Seminar Series

A series of seminars led by Xerox services and technology leaders. Held in Webster, New York, the series is available to other locations via web conferencing and webcasting.

The Service Experience

Offered by the Xerox Services organization, this customized component of the NHDP gives you first-hand customer interaction as you ride along on customer calls with Customer Service Engineers and Analysts. You’ll gain a unique understanding of what takes place in the field.

We have developed and introduced accreditation programs, or structured career pathways, specifically designed for employees in particular business areas. These programs use standard criteria for measuring performance and provide recognition for skills development and application. We may also help with tuition fees where qualifications are required as part of your role.

Along with structured career and development, there are opportunities to move internally at Xerox, whether into a new department, a different business unit or a new customer site.
